Reverend Gary B. Hill

Reverend Gary B. Hill is executive director and founder of Exodus Treatment Center, Inc. Reverend Hill serves as a Commissioner for the Deputy Mayor of Education where he provides suggestions to make government better and focuses on strategies to improve education for District residents. As a Coordinating Entity for the Office of Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes for three consecutive years, he partners with smaller nonprofits to strengthen, mentor, and build capacity. He is an advisor to the 7th District Metropolitan Police Department Commander, DC Housing Authority Executive Office, and Âé¶¹¹ú²ú Stakeholders. Additionally, he serves as a spiritual advisor to DC Councilman Trayon White and churches in the Metropolitan Area.

Reverend Hill graduated from DC Public Schools and earned an Executive Certificate in Non-Profit Management at Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies. A 40-year native Washingtonian, Reverend Hill has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience about the city. He represents the heart of the community in Wards 7 and 8, where he has gained the honor and respect of feared men through love and humility, and serves as a voice for the hurting and unheard.
