Aurianna Tuttle
Aurianna Tuttle is the founder and executive director of ROC Era, an organization committed to creating "safe spaces where young people — especially Black and brown girls and boys — can discover their voices, recognize their value, and truly feel seen and heard." ROC Era provides educational, physical, and artistic opportunities for kids in the Los Angeles area. The opportunities include musical theatre productions, races, educational field trips, and more.
Programming has evolved from mentorship to include financial grants that help families with healthcare, eviction prevention, and security deposits.
Recently, Tuttle has stepped in to support families impacted by the Altadena fires. She filled her van with supplies and drove to Pasadena and Altadena to provide food, clothes, financial support, and temporary housing while the fires were burning. She continues to support hundreds of these families.
