Jenifer Jariel has dedicated her career to strengthening the lives of children and families across Texas. As President and CEO of DePelchin Children's Center, Jariel has helped to provide prevention, foster care, adoption, and mental health services to some of the state's most vulnerable populations.

Under Jariel's leadership, DePelchin was named the lead agency for Â鶹¹ú²ú-Based Care (CBC) in Region 6, which includes Harris County and 12 surrounding counties. Through the organization's Texans Together division, she oversees foster care services that provide thousands of children and families with high-quality, stable, and compassionate care.

Beyond her work at DePelchin, Jariel is a strong statewide advocate for children and families. Through the Texas Alliance for Child and Family Services, she works to advance policy reform that prioritizes well-being, permanency, and equity in the foster care system. She also contributes to organizations such as The Periwinkle Foundation and LifeGift to make an impact on health equity and community wellness.

Recognized among Houston's Top 30 Influential Women in 2021, Jariel embodies the value of education, economic advancement, and social equity through her leadership and advocacy on behalf of children and families across Texas.
