The Chicago Bears will get another tall, playmaking receiver on the field .
The team announced it placed wideout Marquess Wilson on their 53-man roster on Friday, and he is expected to play this week versus the Minnesota Vikings.

The 6-foot-4 Wilson was drawing rave reviews at the Bears' offseason workouts, with Chicago teammates expecting him to make a huge leap in his second season.

Wilson will join Jeffery and on a Bears offense that has struggled to find a third weapon at the wideout position. The Bears cut Santonio Holmes after he was largely ineffective -- and Chicago needed to open a roster spot for Wilson.
With Marshall (ankle), Josh Morgan (shoulder) and tight end Martellus Bennett (ribs) all nursing injuries, Wilson could play a role as the Bears () of the season.
