Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin will not play in the .
Harvin during last week's over the New Orleans Saints and has not been cleared by doctors.
"It's super disappointing for Percy," coach Pete Carroll said Friday. "He wants to play. You could see it. He played his tail off when he had his chance. Just unfortunate circumstances, you know.
"... But we have functioned the way we function because we don't let things like that get to us and disturb us, and how we're thinking, and how we're preparing and all that. We would love to have him, but not this time."
Carroll said that if the Seahawks get past the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, he expects Harvin to practice next week.
The wide receiver has for the Seahawks after they acquired him in the offseason from the Minnesota Vikings.
On the positive side, Carroll said linebacker K.J. Wright would play Sunday. Wright was playing phenomenally prior to in the previous meeting with the 49ers.
Carroll did not say whether or not Wright would start. Malcolm Smith started the past four games while Wright recovered.
Other notes from 聽injury report:
- New England Patriots rookie wide receivers Aaron Dobson (foot) and Kenbrell Thompkins (hip/concussion) were listed as questionable to play against the Denver Broncos in the . Both players were limited all week, and the Pats announced Sunday that Dobson will play, while Thompkins is inactive.
- Punter Ryan Allen (shoulder) was also listed as questionable for the Patriots. It's a positive sign that the Pats didn't sign a punter this week as a precaution; of course, kicker Stephen Gostkowski was great last week when pressed into duty. The Pats listed Allen as active Sunday, as expected.
- Demaryius Thomas (calf) was limited for the Broncos on Friday, . Every other player on the Broncos' injury report participated fully in practice Friday and is probable to play Sunday.
- For the 49ers, cornerback Carlos Rogers (hamstring) and fullback Will Tukuafu (knee) both were listed as questionable. Linebacker Ahmad Brooks (illness), who was described by coach Jim Harbaugh on Thursday as having a "little bug," was probable and fully participated in practice.
