Tanard Jackson has gone from banned from the game to back in the lineup for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, starting at free safety .
Jackson was a fourth-round draft pick in 2007 and started 32 consecutive games to begin his career. He was suspended for the first four games of 2009 for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy. He was disciplined again for a minimum of a year just two games into the 2010 season.
The Bucs will be without running back LeGarrette Blount, who's dealing with a knee injury. Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (ankle) also was inactive, as was offensive tackle James Lee (knee).
