Willis impressed the league as the backup in Green Bay despite only starting three games in his two years: Among all passers with a minimum of 25 pass attempts, Willis ranked first in passer rating (145.5), completion rate (85.7%), and success rate (68.1%), per . 2025 NFC Divisional Round – SF vs. SEA (135 all-purpose yards, 3 TDs)

The Super Bowl LX MVP is taking his talents to Kansas City on a three-year, $45 million deal to give the Chiefs a real running threat that they’ve been missing in recent years. His explosiveness and elusive nature should provide a much-needed boost for an offense that ranked 25th in rush yards per game and 20th in yards per rush, per . Week 15, 2024 – TB vs. LAC (159 yards, 2 TDs) 

After 12 years with the Bucs, Evans bid farewell to Tampa Bay and signed a three-year, $42.4 million deal with San Francisco. The upside of Evans needs little introduction: 11 straight seasons of 1,000+ receiving yards is enough to earn a contract just about anywhere. He’s heading to The Bay to round out an already-impressive roster of talent, and hopefully answer the WR1 question in San Francisco. There are 11 years worth of games to showcase Evans’ skill but for these purposes, I recommend his Week 15 game from the 2024 season. He was all over the field, showcasing his elite contested-catch ability, size, red-zone efficiency and deep threat presence. It all came together early in the second half when Evans was on the receiving end of a 57-yard touchdown that had him tightrope walking the sideline. That play alone is worth the rewatch. 

Week 6, 2025 – CAR vs. DAL (239 all-purpose yards, TD)

After eclipsing the 1,000-yard mark for the second straight season, Dowdle went into free agency as a valuable candidate for a team looking to fill out its backfield. The Steelers snapped him up on a two-year, $12.25 million deal to play under former Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy. His Week 6 game last season versus his former team was a masterclass in efficient and explosive running: Dowdle had a 66.7% success rate, eight missed tackles forced, and 126 yards after contact, per . Week 1, 2025 – JAX vs CAR (156 all-purpose yards)

The Saints signed Etienne on a four-year, $52 million contract that will send him back to his home state of Louisiana. Etienne was a key force in Jacksonville’s road to the postseason last year, but he’s now tasked with helping revitalize a rushing offense that ranked in the bottom five of several major rushing categories last season, per . Etienne had several notable performances last season, but nothing tops his opening week. In Week 1 of last season, Etienne piled up 156 all-purpose yards on 8.9 yards per carry, which included an incendiary 71-yard dash up the middle, perfectly highlighting his elite contact-balance prowess. It’s worth a rewatch. 

Week 1, 2024 – KC vs. BAL (111 yards, TD)

As we highlighted with the help of NFL IQ in early March, Likely did in fact reunite with former head coach John Harbaugh in New York. He signed a three-year, $40 million contract — despite coming off a down year — and the justification comes from performances like this one. The 2024 NFL Kickoff Game was memorable for a number of reasons, not the least of which was Likely’s nine-catch, 111-yard, one-TD day that came one infamous toe away from being even bigger. His day was highlighted by a on which he covered 75.25 yards of total distance and racked up 28.1 yards after catch over expected. This was one of the most rewatchable games of the year regardless and an excellent display of Likely’s upside as a TE1.

Week 16, 2025 – CHI vs. GB (97 yards, walk-off TD)

Bills trade acquisition Moore has had bigger games in his career — like his 230-yard, three-TD performance in Week 5, 2023 against the Commanders. But for a more recent look at his game-changing impact, we only have to go back to last December. In a crucial game amid the NFC North title race, and a late comeback by Chicago, Moore snagged five catches for 97 yards and . That catch alone — an over-the-shoulder beauty characterized by 46 air yards and a 21.31 mph top speed from Moore (per NGS) — really demonstrates what he brings to Buffalo and QB Josh Allen. After a couple of years without a downfield threat, the Bills now have one with proven production and Pro Bowl upside.

Week 9, 2024 – CIN vs. LV (10 pressures, 4.0 sacks)

After the Ravens backed out of their trade for Maxx Crosby, they pivoted to Gregg Rosenthal’s No. 6 overall free agent and No. 2 free-agent pass rusher, Hendrickson, signing him to a four-year, $112 million deal. Hendrickson’s been one of the most productive sack artists in the league the last six years, so it’s not hard to find big games from the former Bengal. But his four-sack extravaganza against the Raiders in Week 9 of the 2024 season stands out. Hendrickson also logged seven QB hits and 10 pressures in the game and forced Las Vegas to replace Gardner Minshew with Desmond Ridder late in the third quarter. He could be a game-wrecker for Baltimore and those talents were on full display in this contest.

Week 12, 2024 – MIA vs. NE (317 yards, 4 TDs)

After he was released by the Dolphins, Tua Tagovailoa landed on a one-year, veteran minimum deal in Atlanta. Given Michael Penix Jr.’s ACL recovery timeline — and his play through two seasons -- Tagovailoa could the Falcons’ starting quarterback for at least the start of the 2026 season. What can fans expect if that’s the case? The lefty has had plenty of impressive games across five seasons in Miami, but his trouncing of the Patriots in Week 12, 2024 stands out. Tagovailoa flashed his excellent accuracy (72.5% completion rate) and utilized Miami’s wealth of weaponry to throw four scores — two to De’Von Achane and one each to Jonnu Smith and Jaylen Waddle — in a 34-15 divisional win. If he can recapture that upside under Kevin Stefanski in Atlanta, Tagovailoa could jumpstart a career resurgence.
