Much like the Patriots two weeks earlier, the Chargers had no answer for Brown, who finished with 120 yards on 23 carries and scored the game's decisive touchdown.

Philip Rivers appeared to aggravate his right knee on the Chargers' opening drive but stayed in the game. He finished 13-of-28 with 159 yards and a touchdown. ... In his first game against his former team, Chargers WR Chris Chambers finished with three catches for 30 yards and a touchdown. Chambers was carted off the field in the fourth quarter with a knee injury and did not return. ...
