Ryan Succop agrees to terms with Tennessee Titans

Succop will get a chance to send a message to his former team when the Titans open the season on Sunday against the Chiefs. Succop -- a former -- was released Saturday after five seasons in K.C.

Succop replaces kicker Travis Coons on Tennessee's roster. The Titans had been on the lookout for a veteran kicker. Jay Feely, Garrett Hartley and Rian Lindell all worked out with the team last week.

Succop is coming off a season in which he converted 22-of-28 field goals (78.6) percent with 47 touchbacks in 91 kickoffs.
