We saw an overspill of physical play in Philadelphia Eagles' over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
When punches -- and yellow flags -- weren't flying between Eagles wideout , Baltimore's Marshal Yanda was seen mixing it up with Philly's Cullen Jenkins.
The point was made -- these two squads don't like each other much -- but Ravens fullback Vonta Leach suggested Philly might have taken it one step too far.
"They take a couple of shots, that's just how they're coached," Leach . "They play dirty. They take shots after the play, a lot of dirty stuff after plays. We weren't going to back down. We weren't going to take that. Anytime someone thinks they're a bully, you got to step up or they'll keep doing it."
We saw a flock of rough games yesterday.
The Washington Redskins-St. Louis Rams affair was an ugly one and the Buffalo Bills are calling the Kansas City Chiefs.
At the heart of this, it's up to the officials to sniff out illegal play. They threw plenty of flags in Philly on Sunday, but nobody was ejected.
